I use TV Out of my laptop and it has a non-GeForce card. SimplyMepis(and PCLinuxOS) seems to have the best out-of-box support for most of the hardware. I have never had problems installing Linux due t this card, but I've only successfully gotten the second display (the tele) to work under SimplyMEPIS. I'd love it to clone the first display...
